To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated personality as Finance & HR Manager/in, who contributes with care, responsibility, and foresight to continuously ensure and further develop our high standards.

Your tasks

Finance – approx. 60 %

• You manage the entire accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment transactions, dunning process
• You perform the payroll accounting and take care of social security and withholding tax
• You prepare the VAT returns and the monthly closings
• Depending on experience, you prepare the annual financial statements yourself or work together with our fiduciary for this
• You support the management with budgeting, liquidity planning, and reporting
• You manage the insurance matters and the cases with accident and daily sickness benefit insurers

HR – approx. 40 %

• You are responsible for our recruitment process – advertisements, pre-selection, interviews, references
• You recruit permanent employees as well as our temporary staff
• You conduct structured initial interviews according to a procedure that we will hand over to you; you make the hiring decision together with the management
• You create contracts and certificates and maintain the personnel files
• You take care of permits, reporting procedures, and the obligation to report job vacancies
• You organize onboarding and trial days and are the contact person for our employees

So that you know what you are getting into: We currently fill around ten positions per year, including temporary ones. This is not a recruitment workload like in a large company. Instead, you accompany every placement from beginning to end – and see the people again in production afterwards.

What you bring with you

Must-have:

• Commercial basic training and several years of experience in financial accounting
• Proficient payroll accounting including social security and withholding tax
• Experience in recruiting production personnel, ideally in a regulated environment such as pharma, medical technology, or food
• Willingness to work according to a structured interview process and to judge candidates based on proven performance
• German at native level, English at conversational level

Nice-to-have:

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting and/or HR Federal Diploma
• Experience with permit systems, cross-border commuters, and the obligation to report job vacancies
• Knowledge of a GMP-regulated environment
• Confident handling of bexio and kontera

We are looking for someone with a passion for numbers and joy in dealing with people. The job requires precision during closing – and speed when a position is vacant in production.
