JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Analysis and evaluation of offers, negotiation of complex commercial and contractual frameworks, as well as derivation of well-founded purchasing and awarding decisions
• Implementation of cost analyses, identification and implementation of cost optimization measures, as well as ensuring material availability, especially in development and ramp-up phases
• Active participation in early project phases for the definition and implementation of optimal procurement strategies, as well as support for transfer-of-work activities and knowledge transfer
• Management and coordination of topics in a complex international matrix organization, as well as close cooperation with development, quality, operations, project management and other functions
• Creation of management presentations and decision templates, independent prioritization and risk analysis, as well as development of pragmatic solutions to achieve company goals and coordination of brand- and location-spanning activities

PROFILE:

• Completed studies or a comparable training or further education in the field of business administration, (industrial) engineering or a similar subject area
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing / Procurement / Purchasing, ideally in a dynamic international environment
• Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness as well as a professional handling of ambiguity, conflicts of interest and changing requirements
• Very good conflict resolution, communication and teamwork skills
• Business fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form
