Project Manager Large-scale Projects, 80-100% The Office for Transport and Civil Engineering is responsible for the further development and preservation of value of cantonal roads and paths as well as their operational maintenance. It plans and orders public regional and local transport and approves traffic measures on municipal roads. The goal is to ensure a high-performance, safe and sustainable transport infrastructure in the canton. For the Road Construction department, we are looking for a Project Manager Large-scale Projects, 80-100% at the Solothurn location as of or by arrangement. Your Responsibility You assume the overall project management of interdisciplinary and complex large-scale projects in the field of transport infrastructure during the phases from preliminary study to commissioning. With your work, you ensure that the cantonal transport infrastructure is further developed in a targeted and sustainable manner. You bear the responsibility for achieving the project goals regarding costs, deadlines and quality. You lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams as well as external specialists. You ensure appropriate communication with various stakeholders and thus ensure a high acceptance of the projects. Your Profile You can demonstrate a university/university of applied sciences degree as a civil engineer or have an equivalent education. Further training in the field of project/quality management completes your profile. You have several years of experience in the management of large-scale projects and interdisciplinary project teams. You have several years of experience in the planning, project design, tendering and realization of road construction projects.
