Ittigen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-80% Your contribution <br /> • Manage, from a technical and organizational point of view, the national observation network for groundwater quality (NAQUA) • Elaborate and coordinate the chemical analysis program for the observation of groundwater quality in collaboration with specialized cantonal services • Contribute to the strategic and operational development of the national program for groundwater observation • Accompany projects conducted by research institutes, private laboratories, or design studies • Keep up to date with scientific developments regarding issues related to groundwater quality; participate in working groups and represent UFAM in commissions • Draft technical publications and reports, answer questions from the media and parliamentarians on the observation of groundwater quality <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree in engineering or natural sciences and, if possible, completed with a doctorate • Experience in the field of environmental chemistry and groundwater quality • Strong analytical skills, sense of negotiation, and ability to communicate effectively with various interlocutors (federal and cantonal authorities, technical staff, etc.) • Experience in project management and in the coordination of working groups and expert groups • Innovative and independent personality, who enjoys collaborating with different interlocutors and facing new challenges • Good active knowledge in at least one second official language and, if possible, knowledge in a third official language <br /> In summary Contribute so that the Confederation and the Cantons have reliable and scientifically sound bases to evaluate groundwater quality and to promptly identify developments.
