Your tasks

• Initiating, designing, and leading projects to promote gender equality
• Shaping and further developing the programs «Entreprise Égalité» and «Werkplatz Égalité»
• Supporting the specialist office in the implementation of its program in the bilingual Canton of Bern
• Processing matters from politics, administration, and the public
• Collaboration in committees and working groups

Your profile

• Master's degree, preferably in humanities, social sciences, or political science
• Several years of professional and project management experience
• Proven specialist knowledge in equality
• Bilingualism French – German or native French speaker with excellent German skills (C2)
• Administrative experience is an advantage

The cantonal Specialist Office for Gender Equality, located within the Staatskanzlei, promotes actual equality in all areas of life and is committed to the elimination of gender discrimination. It supports the Canton of Bern in the implementation of equality, initiates measures and projects, and serves as a contact point for the population.

The Staatskanzlei is a versatile service provider at the interface between politics, administration, and the public. It is the staff office of the Regierungsrat and the liaison office to the Grosser Rat. In doing so, it plans, supports, and coordinates the activities of these authorities and provides numerous services for the administration and the population.
