For our location in Basel, we are looking for an experienced mechanic for screw production as a Mechanist Screws 100%. Job-related tasks • Setting up and operating plants for the production of implants according to specified work and process documentation • Seamless documentation of production processes according to applicable evidence and quality requirements • Carrying out optical and dimensional inspections on implants as well as their documentation • Monitoring the production process and ensuring compliance with all specified process standards • Active participation in continuous improvement (KVP) as well as implementation and further development of the 6S process • Troubleshooting minor malfunctions on production plants • Supporting the Maintenance Team with maintenance and repair work • Compliance with GMP guidelines, quality standards and occupational safety regulations Qualifications • Completed technical vocational training as a polymechanic, precision mechanic, toolmaker or equivalent • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in CNC production, ideally on long-turning machines • Programming knowledge in Tornos TB-Deco ADV and Citizen long-turning Mitsubishi control is an advantage • Safe handling of MS Office and PC applications • Very good knowledge of German in word and writing, basic knowledge of English • Independent, quality-conscious and reliable way of working • Main working hours in day shift; willingness for shift and Saturday deployments desired What we offer We offer you a responsible and varied activity with high quality requirements in a growing, international company with advanced social benefits.
