To strengthen the team, we are looking for a committed personality as a system technician in the operational field of activity. 02 Your Task ## • You monitor storage, virtualization and backup environments in NOC operation, react to alerts and incidents and coordinate directly with manufacturers if necessary • When something goes wrong, you are on the spot: You analyze errors, perform root cause analyses and process escalations according to ITIL processes • You manage SAN/NAS platforms such as NetApp or PureStorage from provisioning via capacity management to performance tuning • In virtualization environments (VMware, Proxmox or similar) you provide virtual machines and clusters and ensure efficient resource utilization • You support enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam and NetApp SnapCenter, from daily monitoring to recovery validation • You identify automation potential, develop scripts to increase efficiency and work closely with the engineering team 03 Benefits ## • Participation in external further training • Bistro or canteen • Company vehicle • Progressive employment conditions • Good public transport connections 04 Your Profile ## • You bring sound knowledge in NOC operation and are well-versed in storage and virtualization technologies (including SAN/NAS protocols, VMware/Proxmox) • You work confidently with Windows and Linux, know backup solutions such as Veeam and understand network basics (TCP/IP, VLANs) • You have completed further training in computer science at HF/FH/Uni level or an equivalent education, certifications with technology partners such as NetApp, PureStorage, VMware or Veeam are advantageous • Fluent German and English skills round off your profile 05 Worth Knowing ## You are enthusiastic about modern IT infrastructures in the areas of storage, virtualization & data center infrastructure and get to the bottom of technical problems with analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
