About Our Client ## Our client, a major player in the agri-food industry in Swiss Romandy, is looking for a Strategic Purchaser to strengthen its Purchasing team. Job Description ## • Participate in the definition and deployment of Purchasing strategies by category, in collaboration with the various internal stakeholders. • Analyze supplier markets and conduct studies to identify the best opportunities. • Lead calls for tenders, commercial negotiations, and contractualization with suppliers. • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance in collaboration with Quality, R&D, Production, and Logistics teams. • Identify and anticipate purchasing-related risks and implement appropriate action plans. • Represent the Purchasing function in new product development projects and ensure compliance with Purchasing processes throughout the project cycle. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to optimize costs, quality, deadlines, and total cost of ownership (TCO). The Successful Applicant ## • Higher education with a technical, commercial, or Supply Chain orientation. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a strategic Purchaser function within an industrial environment, with imperative experience in the agri-food sector. Experience in primary packaging purchasing is highly preferred; otherwise, profiles from food product purchasing will also be considered. • Confirmed experience in negotiation, supplier management, and purchasing project management. • Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and service mindset. • Leadership, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment. • Good mastery of an ERP (SAP is an asset). • Current French. • Good level of German (minimum B1). • Professional English.
