Indirect Procurement Manager (M/F)

Reporting to the Director of Procurement & Supply Chain, you will structure and manage indirect procurement to support the operation and development of the company. You will deploy the purchasing strategy across a scope covering services, energy, investments, general services, marketing, human resources, and other indirect expenses.

You will guarantee economic performance, quality of service, and risk management in these categories, while optimizing the total cost of acquisition, securing contracts, and supporting the needs of the different functions of the company.

Your main responsibilities

Development and implementation of the indirect procurement strategy

• Develop and deploy the indirect procurement strategy, in coherence with Schenk's strategy and the Group's Procurement orientations.
• Analyze and optimize expenses through category segmentation, identification of savings levers, standardization of needs, and risk management.
• Manage sourcing and contracting strategies, in collaboration with internal teams, in order to optimize the total cost of acquisition and improve contractual conditions.

Cross-functional collaboration and support for needs

• Collaborate closely with internal functions to understand, challenge, and formalize their needs.
• Support teams in the preparation of consultations, the evaluation of offers, and the choice of optimal solutions in terms of cost, quality, service, risk, and sustainability.
• Anticipate and consolidate needs in order to develop synergies, limit off-contract purchases, and improve budgetary visibility.

Sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management

• Manage the sourcing and competitive bidding process: identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, organize calls for tender, and negotiate contractual conditions.
• Manage contracts and supplier performance: coordinate contracting, ensure monitoring of deadlines, and develop sustainable partnerships based on performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier risks: anticipate and manage contractual, operational, financial, and regulatory risks, as well as dependencies, by defining appropriate continuity plans.

Performance management and reporting

• Monitor the performance of categories and suppliers using indicators regarding savings achieved, evolution of the total cost of acquisition, contractual coverage, contract compliance, and quality of service.
• Prepare budgets within your scope and ensure regular reporting to management on results, risks, and action plans.

Your profile:

• Higher education in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in indirect procurement, with autonomous management of several categories of goods and services.
• Good mastery of methodologies specific to indirect procurement and proven experience in calls for tender, complex negotiations, contract management, and supplier risk management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional projects, with the ability to mobilize interlocutors from different functions and to drive change. Sense of internal service, results orientation, and ability to challenge needs with diplomacy.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced mastery of excel
• Fluent French and a good level of English.
