Stadtmühle Schenk AG has been processing grain into quality flour in Ostermundigen near Bern since 1887. Over the years, the range has been expanded to include baking mixes, muesli mixes, and breadcrumbs. Due to the composition of its plants, Stadtmühle Schenk can also produce and pack various flour blends upon customer request. Today, Stadtmühle Schenk is among the most modern mills in Switzerland and, with around 50 employees, is one of the three largest providers on the market. With its wide range, Stadtmühle Schenk AG supplies commercial bakeries, retailers, gastronomy, and the food industry. Chief Financial Officer (w/m/d)

Your Mission

As a co-pilot, the CFO is a member of the management team of Stadtmühle Schenk AG and reports directly to the CEO. In his function, he is responsible for the areas of finance and accounting, controlling, personnel administration, and IT. The CFO works closely with the CEO of Stadtmühle Schenk AG and takes on an active sparring partner role regarding financial, operational, and strategic issues. At the same time, he forms an important interface to Kowema AG as the owner and ensures its target-group-oriented financial reporting.

Your Talents

• Several years of leadership experience in the finance department of a manufacturing company.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting, controlling, as well as corporate management.
• High level of closing reliability and sound knowledge of Swiss accounting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and financial planning.
• In-depth knowledge as a user of standard applications (ERP/Office).
• Knowledge in human resources, particularly in the area of labor law.
• Basic knowledge in the area of IT hardware, system administration.
• Higher business administration education (FH/University) with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling. Further training at CFO level, certified expert in accounting and controlling, auditor, or comparable is desired.
• Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking as well as a strong understanding of the overall context of the company.
• High analytical skills and a strong affinity for numbers.
• Assertiveness and decision-making competence as well as the willingness to take responsibility.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate in a target-group-oriented manner and at eye level across all hierarchical levels.
• High initiative, hands-on mentality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
