Polymechaniker/in - CNC manufacturing with CNC controls

Activity

• Set up and prepare machines for the manufacturing process
• Start and monitor machining cycles on lathes
• Directly adjust CNC programs and machine parameters
• Visually and dimensionally inspect machined parts
• Clean machines and check operating materials

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as Produktionsmechanikerin or Produktionsmechaniker EFZ or Polymechanikerin or Polymechaniker EFZ or comparable qualification
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Confidently interpret technical drawings and execution plans
• Routinely use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls such as ISO, Siemens and Fanuc
