We are looking for a Solutions Project Engineer (w/m/d) to complement our team and implement innovative automation and software solutions for demanding customer projects. At Endress+Hauser Flow in Reinach, we develop and produce high-precision flow measurement technology and actively shape the digital future of the process industry.

What is the position about?

You accompany demanding automation solutions along the entire lifecycle - from the initial idea to successful commissioning. The focus is on high-precision transfer measurement and billing solutions, such as refueling or loading and unloading ships.

You operate at the interface of automation, software, and hardware and combine these into powerful overall systems. Does it appeal to you to translate complex technical requirements into well-thought-out solutions and experience their impact directly in real-world use?

Which tasks will you undertake?

You will

• take technical responsibility for solution projects from idea to implementation and actively drive their realization
• ensure technical feasibility and work at the interface between instrumentation, electrical hardware, communication, as well as software and visualization
• develop and implement automation solutions with PLC (according to IEC 61131-3, CoDeSys)
• create and be responsible for electrical drawings in control system construction
• develop and expand visualizations and user interfaces with modern web technologies such as Angular or React
• support sales with technical questions and solution designs
• process service cases as Level 2 or 3 support

What do we expect from you?

You

• have a degree in the field of electrical, automation, or systems engineering or a comparable qualification
• bring experience in PLC programming (IEC 61131-3) as well as a solid understanding of control technology
• have gained practical experience in electrical planning and the creation of electrical drawings
• bring interest or initial experience in web technologies such as Angular or React
• have a good understanding of the interaction between IT, software, and automation as well as ideally initial experience in system integration
• communicate confidently in German and English and work independently, solution-oriented, and enjoy exchanging with customers
• bring a willingness to travel of up to 15 %
