Your tasks

• Operation, administration and further development of the entire IT infrastructure
• Support of server, storage, network and client systems
• Management and optimization of Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments
• Ensuring availability, performance and security of the systems
• Planning and implementation of infrastructure and digitalization projects
• Further development of backup, disaster recovery and security concepts
• Analysis and rectification of complex malfunctions in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Collaboration on IT architecture and technology topics
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Cooperation with specialist departments and external service providers

Your experience and personality

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science
• Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer, ideally in an internal IT department
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Citrix)
• Good knowledge in the areas of networking
• Experience in project management and in the implementation of infrastructure projects
• Microsoft certifications in the areas of Azure, Microsoft 365 or Security are an advantage and underscore your sound specialist knowledge.
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• High service orientation as well as strong communication skills
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
