Automation Technician for Process Automation and Control Technology

Activities

• Construction and wiring of switchgear and controls
• Maintenance, overhaul and servicing of systems (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical)
• Analysis and troubleshooting of faults in process systems
• Creation of system-specific application software for automation and process control systems
• (PLC and HMI software) according to customer requirements
• Development and further development of software applications
• Support during commissioning on-site at the customer
• Participation in on-call service

Requirements

• Completed training as an Automatiker EFZ, electrical installer or comparable training/further education
• Experience in control technology and process automation
• Professional experience with Siemens Simatic S7, Step7, WinCC flexible, TIA-Portal and commissioning of systems
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of technology and modern working equipment
