-------------------- Adult Emergency Nurses (M/F) at 80%-100% # L-Hôpital Riviera-Chablais, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a reference intercantonal hospital, which brings together more than 2-500 employees. The Centre hospitalier de Rennaz, has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical outpatient centers. All employees invest themselves daily to provide quality care to patients, by embodying the values of the institution: authenticity, exemplary behavior and innovation. The Rennaz emergency service has the mission to welcome, evaluate, stabilize and orient any adult person requiring healthcare, 24h/24 and 7j/7. The medico-nursing team is composed of more than 100 employees welcoming approximately 35000 patients per year. The service is equipped with an admission and triage zone, an outpatient care zone (fast track) equipped with 4 reception places open from 10am to 10pm, a 13-place care zone for more complex care, a short-stay hospitalization unit with 9 beds and a resuscitation room dedicated to the care of patients in absolute emergency.   ### The main missions of this position are ###   • Welcome the patient and their surroundings in a manner adapted to the situation, taking into account the health status of the patient, from admission onwards • Ensure a structured and continuous care process and clinical reasoning using institutional means • Contribute to the implementation of the patient's care and orientation project • Keep the patient informed of the care project, ensure their understanding and adherence, and involve them actively in the process • Respond to the health and social life needs of patients, in particular the assistance with ADLs, moral, spiritual and relational support, while respecting their habits, values and beliefs • Prevent functional decline by stimulating patient activity and mobilization through individual support adapted to each situation   We require ###   • A nursing diploma or a title deemed equivalent and recognized by the Swiss Red Cross • Post-graduate training in emergency care, or one year of experience in an emergency department or 2 years of experience in acute care • Excellent listening, observation, adaptation, and anticipation skills, as well as good stress management • A motivated, rigorous and dynamic person, with a sense of responsibility   We offer ###   A pleasant working environment in a dynamic team.
