As a sales assistant and future Tea Sommelier, you are the calling card of our boutique in the heart of Lausanne. You introduce the world of tea to our clientele, advise them with expertise, and offer them a unique shopping experience.

Step by step, you will become a true Tea Sommelier, combining sales with solid expertise and a real passion for exceptional products.

Vos missions

• Acquire solid knowledge of tea and continuously develop your expertise
• Welcome our clientele as privileged guests and create a warm atmosphere
• Advise in a personalized, competent, and enthusiastic manner
• Actively share your passion for tea and its diversity with the clientele
• Contribute to achieving sales objectives
• Develop customer relationships and promote long-term loyalty
• Guarantee a neat presentation of the boutique (product highlighting, order, cleanliness)
• Ensure daily operational tasks: cash register, stock management, receiving deliveries, opening and closing the boutique

Votre profil

• A first experience in sales, ideally in the premium or fine grocery sector
• A keen sense of customer service and enjoyment of human contact
• An interest in gastronomy, tasting products, and particularly tea
• An affable, open, and dynamic personality
• Team spirit, as well as an autonomous and structured way of working

Votre parcours vers le métier de Tea Sommelier

The role of Tea Sommelier was shaped by Palais des Thés and embodies expert and passionate advice.

During your first year, you will follow a complete training course at the « École du Thé », our internal school, as well as practical training in the boutique. This training leads to the Tea Sommelier certificate. Once this is obtained, new development perspectives will be available to you.
