You develop power electronics converters and energy storage systems for traction applications in the rail vehicle sector and ensure their integration into vehicles.

Tasks

• Development of traction converters and energy storage systems (ESS)
• Ensuring integration into vehicles according to customer requirements and standards
• Leading specification, implementation, and documentation of type and qualification tests
• Technical leadership and support of colleagues in power engineering topics
• Optimization of design processes and customer solutions in specialist teams
• Participation in standardization and continuous improvement of the traction product families

Profile

• Degree as an engineer in power electronics or electrical engineering
• Sound background in design and engineering of power electronics
• Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage
• Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken
• German language skills are an advantage
• Willingness for occasional travel
