The Swatch Business Unit is responsible for the development, production, assembly, and delivery of the watch heads for the brands Swatch and Flik Flak.

Toolmaking is responsible for supporting the injection molding tools. The demanding tools are made available for production through repairs, corrections, cleanings, and modifications. Additionally, the area of responsibility also includes the manufacture of new injection molding tools or individual components.

Your future areas of responsibility ##

You will work in a team of 5-10 specialists and can fully contribute your know-how in

• Programming, setting up, and operating the sinker EDM and wire EDM machines
• Assembly and disassembly of injection molding tools
• Manufacture of mold inserts, individual components, replacement and wear parts for existing or new tools
• Carrying out maintenance work on injection molding tools
• Processing of technical changes
• Technical specialist cooperation in various projects regarding optimizations and innovations

Your skills and competencies ##

• Completed training as a Polymechanic / Toolmaker
• Professional experience in the field of toolmaking and erosion
• Experience in the field of plastics technology is an advantage
• "Doer" personality with a sense for efficient and innovative solutions
• Enthusiasm for their field of expertise, working in the 1000th range as well as for modern technologies
• Dexterous, reliable, a team player, and resilient
• Great personal commitment, flexibility, and independence
• Willingness for 2-shift operation in special cases
