Engineer Mechanical Engineering Vehicle Construction

You develop and design mechanical assemblies for rail vehicles and accompany the technical implementation from conception to production.

Tasks

• Design and development of mechanical assemblies in the interior and exterior of the vehicles
• Creation of production-ready 3D models, drawings, bills of materials and technical specifications
• Performance of technical feasibility studies and development of solution concepts
• Cooperation with production, purchasing, project management, approval and surface technology
• Support of suppliers and customers with technical questions
• Accompanying production during evaluation and initial use of new products
• Technical advice to engineering and project management during the entire project phase

Profile

• Completed technical training at university level (FH/University)
• Several years of professional experience in vehicle construction is an advantage
• Good knowledge of a current 3D-CAD system, preferably Catia V5
• German language skills level C1 in speaking and writing
• English language skills level B2 in speaking and writing
