For a residential group with unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (MNA) aged 10 to 14 years, we are looking for two committed and responsible personalities. The children and adolescents live together in a supervised residential group in the Durchgangszentrum Grosshof.

Your tasks

• You accompany and care for the children and adolescents in everyday life and create a reliable and age-appropriate daily structure.
• You build sustainable and professional relationships with the children and adolescents.
• You support the children and adolescents with patience and commitment regarding school, personal, and social issues.
• Taking the individual developmental stage into account, you promote the independence of the children and adolescents.
• You plan and carry out leisure activities as well as age-appropriate occupation and development offers.

Your profile

• You have training in the social or caregiving field or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in working with children and adolescents.
• You enjoy and are interested in working with young people from different cultural and social life worlds.
• Furthermore, you are characterized by a high sense of responsibility and a good sense of proximity and professional distance.
• You are resilient and able to act calmly and clearly even in challenging situations and are prepared to take on irregular working hours and shift work.
