Therwil is an attractive residential municipality in the heart of the Leimental with around 10-000 inhabitants. As a modern service provider, the municipal administration is in the public eye.

To complement our Social Services team, we are looking for a

Social Worker Social Assistance (60%) ##
starting 1 October 2026 or by arrangement

The following tasks are part of your area of activity:

• Clarification and assessment of applications for economic and personal assistance according to the Social Assistance Act and the cantonal asylum ordinance
• Development of target agreements and implementation of measures with clients
• Preparation of applications and decrees for the social assistance authority
• Case management and seamless documentation in KLIBnet
• Networking and cooperation with internal departments and external specialist offices (e.g., RAV, legal guardianships, social insurance, offices)

What you bring with you

• Completed degree in Social Work (FH or equivalent)
• Ideally several years of professional experience in the field of social assistance
• Sound knowledge of the Social Assistance Act and the cantonal asylum ordinance
• Confident German in speaking and writing
• Proficient use of common office software; experience with KLIBnet is an advantage
