Head of Infrastructure

Due to the departure of the previous job holder, we are looking for a

Head of Infrastructure

per 1. December 2026 or by arrangement

• Leadership of the infrastructure department with six caretakers and twenty cleaners at the Buchs and Sargans locations. Ensuring orderly operations and responsible for financial planning and cost control in the area
• Planning, accompaniment and monitoring of regular, professional maintenance work within the framework of the established budget
• Co-design and development of the infrastructure, partly in cooperation with the cantonal civil engineering office. Management of own smaller renovations and procurement projects including cost control
• Responsible for the management of room usage by external parties
• Performance of tasks as the representative for structural safety
• Responsible for the training of the own apprentice in facility maintenance
• Technical/manual basic training with EFZ and many years of professional experience in technical maintenance
• Training as a federal caretaker with FA, ideally supplemented with further training as a Head of Facility Management or caretaker HFP
• Proven leadership experience
• High service orientation, networked thinking, confident appearance, resilient and flexible
• Good IT user knowledge, Microsoft programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft 365/Teams)
• Varied and responsible activity with opportunities for design
