Sucht Schweiz is a national non-profit foundation committed to the prevention and reduction of problems related to addictive behavior. At the interface of research, prevention, and politics, we actively participate in social debates and convey scientifically based findings. For the further expansion of our Institutional Fundraising, we are looking for a committed and proactive personality as of 1. September 2026 or by arrangement. In this key position, you will take responsibility for our Institutional Fundraising and develop this area strategically and operationally. With your strategic thinking, your initiative, and your sense for sustainable partnerships, you will make a significant contribution to the long-term financing of our projects. Your tasks You are independently responsible for our Institutional Fundraising and work closely with our specialist departments. Your tasks include particularly: Further development and implementation of the fundraising strategy in the area of Institutional Fundraising Identification of new funding opportunities at foundations, public institutions, and other funding partners Building, maintaining, and further developing long-term partnerships with funding institutions Writing convincing funding applications, project descriptions, and reportings as well as accompanying the entire funding process Analysis of existing activities and development of new approaches for the further development of Institutional Fundraising Close cooperation with the specialist departments for the successful positioning of our projects towards funding institutions Observation of relevant developments in the funding environment and identification of new financing opportunities What you bring with you You have sound experience in Institutional Fundraising and want to contribute your competencies to an organization with social impact. Ideally, you bring the following: Several years of professional experience in Institutional Fundraising, preferably in the environment of a foundation or non-profit organization Good knowledge of the Swiss funding landscape as well as experience in building sustainable relationships with funding institutions; an existing network is an advantage Experience in the successful acquisition of institutional funding Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a convincing appearance Enjoyment in taking responsibility, recognizing opportunities, and successfully implementing new ideas German at native level (ideally Swiss German) as well as very good French skills (at least level B2) What awaits you with us You will take on a responsible function with a lot of creative freedom and independently develop a strategically important area.
