Project Manager Railway Signaling Technology (ETCS)

You are responsible for the technical and commercial project management of integration projects for ETCS vehicle systems in the railway sector.

Tasks

• Technical and commercial management of ETCS onboard integration projects
• Control of the entire project cycle from handover to the end of the warranty period
• Ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets
• Coordination of customers, suppliers, internal teams, and partners
• Identification and management of risks, opportunities, and project dependencies
• Monitoring of financial project performance including forecasting
• Leadership and development of cross-functional project teams

Profile

• University degree in engineering sciences (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar)
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the railway sector
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary technical projects
• Knowledge of railway standards such as TSI CCS, UNISIG is an advantage
• Experience with ETCS onboard systems or signaling technology is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
• Fluent English, German skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel of 10-25%
