Join an NGO committed to the heart of an essential fight: the defense of freedom of the press. In anticipation of the current holder's retirement, the Swiss section of Reporters sans frontières is looking for its future secretary general, capable, as an operational leader at the head of a small team of three employees and in connection with the organization's global headquarters in Paris :

• to carry a strong voice in Switzerland,
• to represent the association to the media and authorities,
• to write position papers,
• to conduct campaigns and advocacy actions with political bodies,
• to work towards the development of RSF Suisse by finding new resources.

Profile sought

• proven experience in media or human rights,
• in-depth knowledge of the Swiss media landscape and the issues of freedom of the press in Switzerland or media law,
• French or German native language with excellent mastery of the other language, very good English,
• excellent writing skills,
• strategic sense and management skills for the daily running of an organization (finances, accounting, communication).

Type of contract CDI, start date 1 April 2027 at the latest, main place of work Genève.
