Early childhood educators or socioculturally animators APEMS Bourdonnette

For different APEMS in the Floréal sector, we are looking for early childhood educators or socioculturally animators. The structures, offering a capacity ranging from 72 to 132 places, welcome children from 1P to 6P. The structures are located in the southern neighborhoods of the city, within neighborhoods of great social and cultural diversity.

In order to complete the multidisciplinary team, we are looking for educators at an activity rate of 80%. We are looking for committed professionals, eager to actively contribute to the daily life of the APEMS by making use of their skills, personality, and enthusiasm.

The mission in APEMS is focused on the development of children's social skills through their participation in community life. The APEMS are located in the heart of Lausanne neighborhoods, close to schools. The implementation of collective projects, the development of partnerships with practitioners around the children, reflection, and the formation of pedagogical projects as a team are the essential actions that support and sustain the daily reception of the group of children.

• Ensure the care of a group of children in accordance with the pedagogical line while maintaining the global vision
• Include the various stakeholders in the reception and education of the group of children
• Propose, manage, and document projects involving several internal and external stakeholders
• Cooperate with the management in the general functioning of the structure
• Respond to specific administrative tasks

Profile #####

• Title of social educator (HES or ES) or sociocultural animator (HES) recognized according to the competency framework of the law on childcare (LAJE)
• Additional training as a practitioner trainer or professional practice trainer, an asset
• Proven professional experience in the development of specific projects and activities
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the observation, analysis, and individual and group care of schoolchildren
• Good knowledge of collective reception venues and group dynamics
• Ability to document one's own activity and that of the group of children
• Able to develop a participatory process within one's team and within the community of children
• Ability to interact with the environment and partners around the structure, to develop synergies and engage the collective in external projects
