The Pôle Grand Age of the Fondation Eben-Hézer brings together five medico-social establishments and several medico-social reception structures (SAMS). This Pôle offers services related to the elderly, including long-term care, geriatric psychiatry, short-term stays, day care (CAT), protected apartments, as well as the Bonnettes production kitchen.

In order to complete our teams in the Geriatrics and Geriatric Psychiatry pole of the EMS Home Salem, in Blonay St-Légier, we are looking for committed, warm, and dynamic professionals for the following position:

Experienced ICUS

80 to 100%

As Head of Nursing Unit (ICUS), you will ensure the coordination and supervision of a team while ensuring personalized, respectful, and caring support for the residents.

You will be the guarantor of the quality of care and support provided in Geriatrics or Geriatric Psychiatry. In this capacity, you will ensure respect for good professional practices, safety, continuity, as well as the continuous improvement of services.

As a specialized nurse, you will put your clinical expertise at the service of your team. You will support them in complex situations, support skill development, and promote reflective practice, thereby contributing to maintaining a high level of care quality.

As a privileged interlocutor for residents and their families, you will develop close collaboration with treating physicians and network partners to guarantee coordinated, personalized support centered on the needs of each resident.

Close to the field, you will contribute, in close collaboration with the Site Manager, to the management of your unit. You will participate in human resources management, the monitoring of administrative and financial activities, as well as the organization and development of services.

Your profile:

• You hold a HES Diploma in nursing or an equivalent title with solid professional experience in geriatrics. (For foreign titles, recognition by the Swiss Red Cross is required)
• You have successful management experience and hold the related training.
• You benefit from successful and recognized experience in Geriatrics and/or Geriatric Psychiatry, or clinical specialization in this field.
• You have a high level of social competence and a clear and convincing communication style.
• You manage your team with benevolence and partnership.
• You demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, have a sense of teamwork, versatility, and constructive leadership.
• You are available and flexible, demonstrating exemplary behavior.
• You are an experienced user of PLEX tools and familiar with the PLAISIR tool.
• You participate in preventive and therapeutic measures in collaboration with other support teams on the site and network partnerships.
• You promote the vision of global and personalized support for the resident, applying the principles of the Montessori method, Humanitude, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the field of the elderly and strong interest in seniors.
• Proficiency in usual IT and planning tools. (CAREFOLIO is an asset)
