Experienced specialists from electrical engineering and electrical installation accompany our customers on their projects and develop individual solutions with them.

As purchasing manager and specialist for AWAG Elektrotechnik AG, you will take on a responsible key position at the division manager level. You define and optimize the processes to ensure economical procurement of goods. By maintaining existing suppliers, further expanding a high-performance supplier network, and the operational implementation of the purchasing process, particularly order processing, deadline monitoring, and data maintenance, you ensure timely material availability. What you can achieve

Operational

• Communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers
• Order processing / order suggestions
• Monitoring of deadlines and delivery capabilities
• Maintenance of prices and master data
• Participation in ERP further developments

Strategic

• Active establishment / leadership of the purchasing department
• Supplier selection, qualification, evaluation
• Price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Assortment design in coordination with the product managers
• Purchasing controlling
• Market observation, raw material developments, alternatives

What you bring with you

• Purchasing specialist with federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis)
• Practical experience in a similar function in an electrotechnical SME
• Cost-conscious personality and assertive negotiation partner
• Interest in a wide range of tasks and you communicate fluently in German and English
• Proactive personality with an independent and systematic way of working
• Experience in dealing with Opacc (ERP) or another ERP such as SAP
