Clerk Short-term Rentals 70 % - 100 % (fixed-term for 3 years)

Due to a recent revision of the building and zoning regulations, private secondary residences and business apartments no longer count towards the permitted residential share under certain conditions. This means that private secondary residences and business apartments must be checked for their legality and, if necessary, converted into a lawful use.

To ensure rapid and smooth enforcement, we are looking for an engaged and quality-conscious personality for our Task Force for a fixed term of three years. The "Du-culture" (informal culture) practiced at AfB begins with us even before the first working day. Therefore, we take the liberty of addressing you with "Du".

Tasks ##

• You process standardized procedures to check and ensure lawful uses in connection with short-term rentals. This includes receiving reports, conducting factual investigations, preparing decisions for the attention of the building section, and the possible enforcement of administrative law coercive measures.
• You ensure the provision of technical information regarding process and detailed questions to applicants.
• You work closely with internal specialist departments and external stakeholders and ensure a legally compliant, uniform, and effective enforcement practice.

Profile ##

• In addition to a completed commercial vocational apprenticeship or equivalent training, you bring relevant further training (e.g., CAS public construction law, federal specialist in public administration, etc.).
• You have several years of experience in public administration, the licensing system, or sovereign enforcement.
• You also bring proficiency in handling databases, registers, and electronic case management systems.
• You use your negotiation skills, your positive charisma, and your persuasiveness to great advantage.
• We also count on your initiative and openness to new things.
• Additionally, you bring flexibility and a touch of humor.
• Your stylish oral and written expression in the German language completes your profile.
