At a glance

The SKAN laboratory specializes in the manufacture and testing of bioindicators and is an important partner in matters relating to microbiological qualification processes. As part of the Quality Control team, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for the quality control of our bioindicators and the laboratory environment. A background in microbiology is essential for this position and will help you feel comfortable in your new role. Experience in a GMP environment is desirable.

Tasks

• Execution of microbiological quality controls
• Management of raw materials
• Working with bacterial cultures (BSL-1)
• Documentation of results according to ISO and GMP guidelines
• Processing of deviations and Change Controls
• Support in the organization of the laboratory and ensuring GMP-compliant workflows

Hardskills

• Completed training or studies in the field of laboratory sciences, microbiology, biology, or medical analytics, preferably with experience in the field of microbiology
• Professional experience in the field of quality control is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Very good English skills are required
• Good German skills are of great advantage
