What you can contribute

• Issue regulations for fire protection equipment, the operational vehicles of the facility fire services and fire protection equipment
• Actively support acquisition processes and manage them in a way that satisfies the relevant services
• Perform fire protection inspections and verify defined measures
• Instruct and advise specialized bodies in construction, facility personnel and the troops in the field of organizational protection and fire defense
• Professionally test and evaluate new extinction and fire fighting systems
• Prepare, present and implement themes from the DDPS fire protection specialist service for continuous training and technical reports for the executives of the Facility Fire Service (SF+E)

What makes you unique

• Basic commercial and/or technical training
• Continuing education in business management
• Additional training as a fire protection specialist with federal diploma
• Swiss CSSP firefighter instructor (basic and respiratory protection)
• Experience as a course manager and instructor
• Good writing skills and oral and written knowledge in a second official language
