Head of Air Freight (m/f)

per immediately or by arrangement

Your tasks

• You are responsible for order intake as well as the disposition and organizational processing of goods transports (containers, full loads, refrigerated loads)
• You coordinate the transports according to schedule and demand and ensure careful maintenance of supplier and material master data
• As a technical manager, you take on the leadership and further development of the team and ensure high quality in daily order processing
• Your area of responsibility includes order documentation as well as the administrative processing of the transports
• You prepare offers and invoices independently and are available to customers and forwarding companies as a competent contact person
• The processing of complaints and damage cases is also part of your area of responsibility
• As the safety officer, you ensure compliance with the relevant BAZL guidelines as well as the specifications in the RegB area and actively support the implementation of the Sieber QM standard.

Our requirements

• Prerequisites are a commercial basic training as a freight forwarding agent, completed further training at the Higher Federal Examination level, as well as proven professional experience in a comparable position
• You also bring proven experience in successful customer care as well as in the acquisition and development of new customers
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing are required; any further foreign language is an advantage
• As a team player, you convince with friendly, customer-oriented manners and a professional appearance
