Experienced HR Generalist with advisory tasks (100 %) Experienced HR Generalist with advisory tasks (100 %) Personnel \| for 1 November 2026 or a date to be agreed METAS – or Federal Institute of Metrology – is the reference institute in Switzerland for measurements and measuring instruments. To ensure that a litre is always a litre (for example when you fill up), METAS performs calibrations, conformity assessments and provides advice to the economy, research and administration. A source of trust, particularly on a social and political level, metrological accuracy is indispensable in many fields: road traffic, electricity billing, dissemination of time, measurements for the environment and health, etc. Needless to say, at METAS, disciplines have been side by side and in dialogue since 1862\. The Personnel department of METAS accompanies the approximately 270 employees with benevolence and competence throughout the HR "life cycle", i.e. from recruitment to departure, including commencement of employment. Your tasks You advise and accompany hierarchical superiors and colleagues for all personnel-related questions you assume responsibility for an assigned area: from recruitment to administrative processing of entries and departures, including advice in case of conflicts you are the interlocutor for professional training and manage all apprenticeship and internship contracts (responsible for professional training) you are responsible for the correct and consistent implementation of absence management you actively contribute to the digitization processes and the development of HR processes Your profile Completed commercial training, supplemented by continuing education in human resources (HR federal diploma or equivalent qualification), as well as several years of professional experience in a similar function and completed professional trainer course in-depth knowledge in typical HR areas of activity (labor law, social insurance, advisory skills) supplemented by basic knowledge in payroll management sense of initiative and autonomy – proactive, solution-oriented and goal-oriented working method, coupled with a marked concern for quality and efficiency comfortable with Microsoft Office, SAP and common HR tools proficiency in an official language (German or French), very good knowledge of a second official language (B1–B2\) and good English skills We offer you A varied activity and a position of responsibility within a dynamic company, distinguished by short decision-making circuits and an open corporate culture.
