Your area of responsibility - which is characterized by

Schule Meggen does not want to leave the socio-emotional development and promotion of transversal competencies to chance. We strive for the implementation of the explicit and systematic promotion of socio-emotional competencies and thereby wish to achieve a measurable impact in dealing with challenging behavior in children/adolescents, teachers, and school management.

School social pedagogy is an extended offering of the specialist department "Social Work in School" (SA), together with school social work (SSA). As part of the school-wide framework concept "socio-emotional development", the SA is responsible for the explicit and systematic promotion of the self and social competencies of our learners.

As a School Social Pedagogue, you are primarily responsible for the following tasks:

• Universal prevention work in cooperation with the SSA: The target group is all learners of Schule Meggen (from kindergarten to 3. Sek)
• Assistance in concept development, design, and optimization
• Implementation and evaluation of the planned prevention offers in classes
• High-threshold case work of individual learners on a binding mandate following clear indication and objective setting: The target group is specific learners of Schule Meggen (and all their system-relevant persons) who show special challenges in social behavior and whose own integration into the school system is threatened - after insufficient support and guidance by the SSA.
• Targeted development and promotion planning to strengthen social behavior for the integrative management of daily school life, incl. process documentation
• Structured implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the socio-pedagogical interventions (case responsibility within the SA team)
• Involvement and cooperation with legal guardians
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with teachers, school management, and specialist agencies
• Readiness to network in the pioneering work, both internally with their SSP colleague, as well as externally with other school social pedagogues from other schools/municipalities, and to develop an awareness of the professional-political dimension of the function "School Social Pedagogy".

Your requirement profile - which distinguishes you

For this varied and interesting task, you bring with you:

• a degree HF/FH in Social Work
• preferably a CAS in School Social Pedagogy or readiness to complete this further education - we finance this CAS with at least 90%.
• professional experience in social pedagogy in a school context
• As a School Social Pedagogue, you work according to the methods and principles of Social Work
• You know the approach of New Authority and can align your socio-pedagogical work accordingly
• Systemic thinking and action
• Affinity for digital media
• You are accustomed to an independent (high degree of self-organizing abilities) and interdisciplinary way of working.
• We count on a high sense of responsibility and reliability
• High capacity for reflection
