As a unique platform for exchange, the Centre promotes collective intelligence by allowing the best ideas from staff to be gathered, valued, and materialized. Both a competence center and a collaborative workspace, the Centre de l’innovation (CI) of the HUG offers a range of services to evaluate, support, mature, promote, and value the innovative ideas and projects of the HUG staff and structures. A laboratory for experimentation, a catalyst for change and participatory approaches, the Centre de l’innovation offers different ideal spaces for collaborative workshops or for events. Pioneer at the European level in the hospital environment, the Centre de l’innovation has evolved the intrapreneurship model by weaving close links with the Patients partenaires (PP) project. This close collaboration with the PP platform has deployed its effects and benefits in the development of solutions close to the needs of the patients. Innovation Engineer Internship - 80% to 100% As an Innovation & Project Management Intern, you will be integrated into the heart of the Centre de l'innovation team. You will be a pillar to catalyze the innovative ideas and pioneering projects of HUG employees by offering project management support. You will bring to life the culture of innovation and creativity and support transformation within the institution. You are tasked with creating favorable conditions for the emergence, maturation, and implementation of new products, services, and process improvements (applications, medical devices, tools, organizational solutions, etc.), by relying on collaborative and user-centered approaches. To this end, you develop and drive a permanent dynamic of idea and project generation. You support innovation projects at all stages of their development, from their initialization to their implementation. In this context, you analyze problems, needs, and usages in order to define and document clear specifications, integrating the challenges, objectives, scope, and deliverables of the projects. You propose and support innovative solutions based on identified needs, contributing to the materialization of concepts through the creation of prototypes, models, digital plans, or user stories. More specifically: You contribute to challenging preconceived ideas from employees through a collaborative analysis of their utility, desirability, feasibility, and viability in order to direct initiatives towards high-impact solutions aligned with institutional priorities. You work towards the dissemination of the culture of innovation and collective intelligence within the hospital. You help in the design and facilitation of collaborative workshops and work sessions based on design thinking, favoring creativity and co-construction. In this context, you ensure that new processes are rigorously documented and participate in feedback sessions to enrich and sustain the Centre's knowledge base. You support innovators in the development of high value-added solutions that comply with user needs. You oversee all development phases including the definition of functional and technical specifications, the writing of a specification document, the choice of manufacturing techniques as well as the validation of feasibility and acceptability. Thanks to your appetite for rapid prototyping technologies specific to fablabs, you participate actively in the materialization of concepts and in conducting field tests. You provide project leaders with methodologies, practices, and tools that promote the structuring, acceleration, and success of projects (roadmaps, process analyses, management tools, dashboards, evaluation devices, etc.). You also participate in the deployment of the Innovation Academy, the Centre's training program, by contributing to the preparation and facilitation of pedagogical modules intended to support employees in their skill development. You support the implementation and deployment phase of projects both internally and externally by mastering the challenges of change management as well as the fundamentals of the business model. You facilitate interactions with the relevant stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration throughout the projects. You support innovators in seeking funding and the valorization of their projects, by contributing to the structuring of files, the visibility of initiatives, and their promotion to the relevant authorities and partners.
