LB MetallService AG, which emerged from ABB, has been supplying well-known domestic and international customers with process-reliable steels and metals according to their needs and requirements as a partner in the service of the machine and plant industry for more than 120 years. Highly demanding applications and technologies within power plant construction, turbine construction and the electrical industry have been a constant companion in our daily work and quality thinking since our founding. The extensive service offerings such as warehousing, processing, delivery in production takt etc. are carried out in our high-bay warehouse with over 2'000 cassettes and several modern CNC-controlled circular and band saws.

starting immediately or by arrangement.

You advise and support demanding industrial customers in diverse technical and commercial matters in the back office. As a sales clerk with industrial experience, your entrepreneurial thinking is characterized by reliability, negotiation and organizational skills as well as sales flair.

Your tasks:

Advice and sale of metal and steel products and the associated additional services

Holistic order processing from quotation creation to delivery, including invoicing and tracking in the ERP system

Support in the maintenance of our existing customers through regular customer contact and individual consultations

Assumption or development of key account customers

Support of the sales and purchasing management as required

Support in the optimization and further development of sales processes

Your profile:

Successfully completed commercial or technical basic training, ideally already having experience in a similar position, preferably in the steel and metal trade

Strong-closing sales personality with perseverance, negotiation skills and a pronounced entrepreneurial way of thinking and working

Solution-oriented approach with good communication skills and enjoyment of direct customer contact

Experience in the support of key customers

Structured and goal-oriented way of working, high initiative and assertiveness

Independent way of working combined with high personal responsibility

Routine handling of MS-Office and sound knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an advantage)

Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing are a must, further languages such as Italian or French are an advantage
