Project Manager Customer Orders

In this important role at Schaltgeräte AG in Grenchen / S, you will maintain relationships with our long-standing customers and ensure the professional processing of their order projects. In the offer phase, you will determine the suitable scope of delivery and develop individual solutions in close cooperation with customers and sales. You will create offers independently and accompany the process until the contract is concluded. After receipt of the order, you will take over the systematic order processing together with interdisciplinary teams - from coordination to successful commissioning at the customer. In addition, you will be the contact person for service inquiries and actively contribute to customer satisfaction. Project Manager Customer Orders (m/w/d) What you do Overall responsibility for customer projects from the offer phase to commissioning to the end of the warranty period Central point of contact for customers and responsible for transparent, professional communication throughout the project Independent project processing according to customer requirements while meeting deadlines, costs, and quality Project controlling including cost monitoring and correct mapping of all orders and project steps in the ERP system Coordination and organization of external services such as assembly, testing, and commissioning Ensuring timely delivery and monitoring correct invoicing Close cooperation with internal departments (engineering, quality) and incorporation of customer feedback for continuous improvement Support for sales, particularly in the preparation of offers Maintenance and expansion of customer relationships, including participation in customer visits or trade fairs as needed Analysis of completed projects (e.g., deadlines, costs, processes) and derivation of optimization measures What you bring Technical basic training with further education to HF or comparable training Professional experience in project management, technical sales, or a comparable technical function Good technical understanding of high-voltage technology, mechanical engineering, and materials technology Basic knowledge of design and development with CAD is an advantage Distinct communication and negotiation skills Structured and solution-oriented way of working, even in demanding situations Entrepreneurial thinking and action, reliability, and openness Negotiation-secure English and German in word and writing.
