Student Mission - PHP / JavaScript Web Developer - 40-60%

Job Description

On behalf of our client, a major player in the automotive industry in Suisse romande, we are looking for a computer science student to participate in the development of its internal CRM and its Web applications in PHP and JavaScript.

This mission, with a minimum duration of one year, is offered at a rate of 40 to 60%, with a flexible organization compatible with your studies and teleworking possible. You will join a small team offering autonomy and technical support.

Main Missions

• Develop new functionalities for the internal CRM and Web applications.
• Contribute to back-end development in PHP and interfaces in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Design and consume REST APIs to connect internal tools to external services.
• Implement JSON data exchanges and integrations via webhooks.
• Participate in the structuring and exploitation of data in MySQL databases.
• Improve existing functionalities and the ease of use of the tools.
• Test your developments and participate in their production deployment with the support of the team.
• Organize your work according to the agreed objectives and regularly share your progress.
• Propose improvement ideas and contribute, depending on projects, to the integration of AI and automation solutions.

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

• Computer science student in an EPF, a HES, a university or an equivalent training.
• Good practical basics in PHP and JavaScript, acquired as part of your studies, personal projects or a first experience.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and SQL / MySQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data exchanges.
• Familiarity with Git and standard Web development tools.
• Ability to take ownership of an existing environment and to produce clear and maintainable code; knowledge of a framework is an asset.
• Interest in new technologies, automation and AI agents; knowledge of the MCP protocol is a plus.
• Autonomy, rigor and ability to lead a functionality to its delivery, requesting help when necessary.
• Curiosity, spirit of initiative and desire to learn alongside professionals.
• Availability at a rate of 40 to 60% for one year, with a regular presence in Genève.
