To strengthen our "Safety, Health and Environment - Sustainability" team in Villars-sur-Glâne and as a successor to the current manager who will retire at the end of May 2027, we are looking for a

Head of Safety, Health and Environment - Sustainability (m/f)

YOUR MISSIONS: ##

• Coordination and integration of the areas of occupational safety, health protection and environment - sustainability across all company sites, including fire protection and security
• Personnel and/or technical management of a team of specialists
• Improvement of company policy in the areas of occupational safety and health protection, environment and sustainability as well as ensuring its implementation and compliance across all sites
• Improvement of management systems and concepts according to current standards (ASA directives, ISO 14001, fire protection, security in collaboration with quality assurance)
• Advise, train and support management, executives and employees in the implementation of objectives in this field
• Lead projects directly related to the field of expertise
• Organize and coordinate emergency management: fire, environment, accidents with injuries and security

YOUR PROFILE: ##

• Engineering degree or recognized equivalent degree in a technical field, ideally supplemented by training as a safety delegate - STPS specialist or CFST/STPS expert safety engineer, or the willingness to undergo such training later if necessary
• Proven professional experience of at least 5 to 7 years in a comparable role in an industrial company (experience in the food industry is an asset), including team management
• Deep training and/or knowledge in the areas of safety and fire protection. Knowledge in chemical product management is a plus
• Experience in crisis and emergency management as well as in group leadership and conducting training sessions
• Very good oral and written skills in French (C1), ideally with knowledge of German. Proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Category B driver's license
• Comfortable both in the field and in the office
• Personality with natural leadership qualities and good communication skills, autonomous and with a great sense of responsibility
