Head of General Services 80-100% (m/f/d)

You will coordinate the infrastructure, technical services, and general services of the institution. Across all sites, you will contribute to guaranteeing a secure, functional environment adapted to the needs of beneficiaries and employees, in compliance with current standards and requirements.

Your main responsibilities

• Infrastructure: manage the upkeep and maintenance of buildings, installations, equipment, and furniture, ensure the monitoring of service providers and contracts, and participate in investment, renovation, and layout projects
• Security: ensure compliance with safety, fire protection, hygiene, and environmental standards, ensure the monitoring of prevention measures and periodic controls as well as the alarm system
• Security devices: ensure the updating of emergency and evacuation plans, organize exercises and awareness actions, and ensure the proper functioning of security and communication systems
• General services: management, support, and substitution for concierge, infrastructure, and transport. Supervision of kitchen and laundry activities. Prioritization of interventions
• Technical and logistical services: ensure the operational monitoring of telephony, IT systems and alarms, and the vehicle fleet in connection with the relevant service providers. Manage purchases, suppliers, and material needs of all our sites
• Continuous improvement: identify needs, propose suitable solutions, and promote collaboration between general services and the various sectors of the institution
• Communication and information to management

Your profile

• Higher technical education in infrastructure management, facility management, or equivalent, or vocational training completed with significant experience related to the function; additional training in the field of security is an asset
• Proven experience in the coordination of general services, infrastructure, or technical services
• Local leadership, interpersonal ease, and the ability to unite people
• Ease in the coordination of teams and external service providers
• Good knowledge of requirements related to building safety and risk prevention
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate various activities, while ensuring their monitoring until completion
• Autonomy, rigor, sense of responsibility, and the ability to take initiative and propose pragmatic solutions
• Good command of standard IT tools
• Good knowledge of German is an asset
