Operations Electrician

Operations Electrician Mission The Operations department manages and operates the real estate heritage infrastructures and services to EPFL users. It is composed of approximately 80 employees active in HVAC-MCR techniques and Building Maintenance. Main tasks and responsibilities Your tasks and responsibilities as an operations electrician will be to: Carry out electrical installations, preventive and curative maintenance operations on building installations, ensure legal compliance of electrical work according to OIBT standards Prepare OIBT measurement reports following these electrical installation works Ensure troubleshooting of electrical installations on the EPFL site Carry out small electrical installations in EPFL buildings Ensure and assume an on-call service on a 24/7 rotation Carry out maintenance and operation work on the site's electrical installations Carry out work related to machine installations and peripheral equipment Monitoring external electrical companies for small-scale electrical work Install the electrical material and equipment necessary for the realization of events and demonstrations Carry out work related to the setting up of temporary installations for construction sites Profile CFC as an electrician or equivalent recognized by the ESTI To hold an OIBT authorization according to art. 13, or to be eligible Knowledge of NIBT 2020 To be ready to work sometimes at night or on weekends and to work shift schedules according to needs At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of electrical installations in industry or buildings Calm and thoughtful, rigorous, meticulous and methodical personality Knowledge of English, an asset Category B driving license indispensable We offer A friendly and stimulating working atmosphere A quality working environment The opportunity for our employees to be involved in demanding and varied projects All the social benefits of a large company The opportunity to participate in the operation of one of the most dynamic campuses in Europe, where the missions of education, research and innovation require an extraordinary diversity and complexity of technical installations Information Start date: immediately or to be agreed Minimum occupancy rate: 100% Maximum occupancy rate: 100% Contract type: CDI jpidea0486ajm jpit0729jm jpiy26jm
