DBA Senior Oracle / SQL Server (f/m/d) Be your best with bechtle On behalf of our banking client based in Genève, we are looking for a DBA Senior Oracle / SQL Server (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the operation, security, automation and evolution of critical multi-technology database environments. Your mission Pilot security patching operations on Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, from planning to validation, ensuring reporting and compliance monitoring. Ensure the monitoring of database vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation actions and guarantee the resolution of risks within the defined deadlines. Design, develop and maintain automation solutions to reduce manual tasks, standardize operations and strengthen service resilience. Manage the database lifecycle, including provisioning, migrations, upgrades, refresh, backups, restores, recovery tests and decommissioning. Participate in production support and 24/7 on-call duties, intervene on critical incidents and contribute to service continuity on on-premise and Azure environments. Your profile Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in database administration in critical environments. Excellent mastery of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, with proven experience in high-volume and high-availability environments. Solid skills in scripting, automation, architecture, performance tuning and database optimization. Good knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL and Azure environments; experience with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Data Guard is a significant advantage. Ability to analyze and resolve complex incidents, sense of organization, rigor and ease in managing priorities in a production context. Fluent French and English, good team spirit, ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and availability to participate in 24/7 on-call duties.
