Tasks

• Procurement of technical components, spare parts, and services
• Requesting, evaluating, and comparing offers
• Conducting price and contract negotiations
• Selection, qualification, and development of suppliers
• Maintenance of purchasing and material master data in SAP R/3
• Monitoring delivery dates and initiating escalation measures
• Carrying out market and price analyses
• Participation in cost optimization and procurement projects
• Close cooperation with Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Quality Management
• Creation of evaluations and reports from SAP R/3

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial training with corresponding further education (e.g., Technical Merchant, Purchasing Specialist, Business Administration HF/FH)
• Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or an industrial environment
• Sound knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract law
• Experience in price and contract negotiations
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3, especially module MM (Material Management)
• Confident handling of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in material requirements planning, inventory management, and master data maintenance
