Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Tasks In this exciting position, you will take responsibility for the operation and further development of our central database infrastructure. Your tasks include: Databases: Responsibility for the development, operation and support of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases as well as participation in performance optimizations. Server infrastructure: Participation in the operation of IBM Power Systems and AIX operating systems. Projects & Concepts: Project management and creation of concepts for technologically and organizationally demanding projects. Requirements Completed education in computer science or comparable practice with corresponding further training. Several years of experience in operating Oracle databases, including Oracle Enterprise Manager, CDB/PDB architectures, performance analyses and application support. Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting Experience in operating Unix systems, preferably AIX on IBM Power Systems. Experience with PostgreSQL databases, preferably in connection with container technologies.
