Your mission

On behalf of one of our clients based in Genève, we are looking for an experienced Buyer (M/F) to strengthen its teams. As part of this role, you will ensure the management of purchases related to your scope, in close collaboration with various internal stakeholders and in compliance with defined purchasing strategies. Your main responsibilities: Take charge of the purchases in your portfolio in collaboration with various internal clients; Participate in the definition and deployment of purchasing strategies; Integrate sustainability and traceability issues into purchasing processes; Identify, select and manage a panel of suppliers adapted to the needs; Negotiate and formalize commercial and contractual conditions; Manage purchasing files as well as various projects related to your scope; Evaluate, develop and monitor supplier performance; Ensure commercial and competitive monitoring in the relevant markets; Develop a partnership relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Your profile

Higher education in the field of purchasing or equivalent commercial training; Proven experience of at least 5 years in a buyer role; Solid experience in negotiation, sourcing and supplier management; Ability to manage a purchasing portfolio autonomously; Good understanding of purchasing strategies and processes; Very good command of SAP and standard IT tools; Excellent command of French and good level of professional English; Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills; Autonomy, rigor, versatility and sense of responsibility; Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders; Curiosity, proactivity, flexibility and team spirit
