We are the Claims Analytics Team in the Competence Center Data & AI at AXA Schweiz. Together with the business, we develop and operate data-driven solutions that create real added value in claims processing.

In the area of Data, Technology & Innovation, around 600 software and system developers work across Switzerland and develop tomorrow's technology in-house. In doing so, we also collaborate in global teams and networks.

We shape and integrate the latest tools, host hackathons, and our agile product teams run self-organized and are independently responsible from A to Z.

What awaits you

• You develop, optimize, and operate Data & AI applications in the cloud (GCP) that use our resources efficiently and create measurable added value
• Through exchange with users and analysis of data, you develop a deep understanding of business problems and processes and develop suitable (Agentic) AI applications for them. You work with hypotheses and experiments, monitor the content performance of ongoing systems, and improve them proactively
• You work closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and business experts, navigate confidently between functional and technical requirements, and design reliable, scalable AI solutions from them. In doing so, you actively contribute your own perspective
• You actively contribute your knowledge to the team, e.g., through code reviews, professional exchange, and sharing best practices
• You keep yourself up to date on the latest developments in the field of AI and pass your knowledge on to other team members and stakeholders

What you bring with you

• You have practical experience in Context Engineering, RAG, Agentic AI, Evaluation, and Monitoring. You know where LLMs fail and have strategies to deal with them. You know how Context, Retrieval, and Generation interact and how to build working applications with them
• You have good knowledge of Python, SQL, LangChain / LangGraph or similar and work confidently with collaborative development workflows (e.g., Git, Code Reviews, Pull Requests). Experience with GCP and Coding Agents is an advantage
• You know when an agentic approach is appropriate and when a simpler solution suffices. You design architectures beyond individual components
• You speak fluent German (at least B2) and English
• Bonus: You have experience in the insurance industry, regulated industries, and AI Governance
