Head of Accounting & Fiduciary (m/f/d)

Our client is a successful group of companies from the construction industry and is continuously developing its structures and processes. For the central finance function, we are looking for a technically skilled and responsible personality who leads the accounting and, with their team, ensures a reliable service for the group companies.

Your field of activity:

• Responsibility for the proper management of the financial accounting of several companies
• Independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation and control of VAT returns
• Independent preparation of tax returns
• Ensuring timely, correct and traceable bookkeeping
• Technical and personnel leadership of a team of four employees
• Contact person for internal departments, external fiduciaries, auditors and authorities
• Further development and standardization of processes in accounting
• Collaboration in the optimization of processes, controls and system applications
• Close cooperation with the Finance Management and the operating companies

Your background:

• Completed commercial basic training with further training in finance and accounting or fiduciary, for example Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting or Fiduciary
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable function in accounting or fiduciary
• Experience in leading a small team or a clear readiness to take on leadership responsibility
• Very good and practically proven knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
• Confidence in the independent preparation of annual financial statements, VAT returns and tax returns
• Hands-on mentality as well as enjoyment in tackling operational tasks personally
