Electrical Engineer - Process Plants

You combine electrical engineering, automation, and commissioning and accompany demanding machine and plant projects from technical planning to worldwide use at the customer site. Job Vacancy No. 6638 ## Tasks ### • Independent technical execution of automation and control projects for process machines and plants • Creation and adaptation of electrical schematics • Programming of PLC controls and visualization systems • Creation of functional specifications as well as technical electrical and project documentation • Commissioning of machines and plants at international customers • Implementation of customer training on-site • Support in the technical elaboration of offers • Analysis and rectification of faults during project design, commissioning, and operation • Close cooperation with engineering, project management, and other technical specialist departments Requirements ### • Training as an Electrical Engineer FH/HTL, Electrical Technician HF, or comparable technical qualification with corresponding professional experience • Experience in the creation of electrical schematics, ideally with EPLAN • Good knowledge of Siemens Step7 and TIA Portal • Experience with HMI systems, preferably WinCC • Knowledge of Allen Bradley is an advantage • Experience in the automation of machines or process plants • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working • Strong customer orientation and enjoyment of international contact • Willingness for worldwide business trips IT ### EPLAN: good Siemens Step7: good TIA Portal: good WinCC: good Allen Bradley: an advantage MS Office: good Languages ### German m+s: very good English m+s: very good Start of Position ### Immediately or by arrangement Work Location ### Basel Special ### A exciting position for electrical engineers and automation specialists who do not want to develop technology only at a desk, but also want to experience their solutions directly at the machine.
