AI Engineer (M/F)

You will be the production engine of our AI practice, within the Data & AI Service line.

You will transform business needs into AI solutions using code agents and cutting-edge models, then move those that have proven themselves into production with the level of security and reliability required by large companies.

This is not about training models. You will build agentic workflows and LLM applications to connect them to client systems and make them secure.

Furthermore, as a consultant, you will manage the client relationship. The build is yours, with real engineering decisions and wide autonomy.

Concretely:

• Rapidly prototype AI solutions to validate their value before full development.
• Deploy and maintain LLM applications and agents in compliance with client architecture standards, with evaluation, monitoring, and token tracking from the start.
• Rigorously configure MCP connectors and their permissions regarding data, access, and each agent's scope.
• Guarantee the compliance of solutions with client security requirements, nLPD and, if necessary, GDPR.
• Create reusable assets (skills, plugins, MCP servers) to accelerate future mandates.
• Disseminate best practices for AI-assisted development and support less experienced profiles.
• Document your deliverables so that SQLI and its clients can take them over after handover.
• You have already delivered a real project with Claude or another agent platform.
• You master TypeScript and/or Python and have built RAG applications.
• You know how to create plugins, skills, and MCP servers, and design prompts and context for autonomous agents securely.
• You master the challenges of security, access control, and data protection (nLPD and GDPR).
• You know how to implement CI/CD pipelines and move from a prototype to a production build.
• You have a team spirit and a sense of initiative, ideally acquired in an agency or consulting firm.
• You speak French fluently and English at a professional level.
• You are Swiss, an EU/EFTA national, or a holder of a valid work permit in Switzerland.

Pluses: mastery of German, Azure (notably Azure AI), Anthropic's managed agent infrastructure, LLM output evaluation, e-commerce or automation experience, and ease in presenting to a non-technical audience.

Reporting to the management of the Data & AI service line, you will work mainly on billable client mandates. Evolution towards an AI Architect career path is possible as the practice grows.
