Power Line Electrician: Medium Voltage Overhead Line Construction (all)

Your tasks • You carry out work on medium-voltage overhead lines as part of expansion, maintenance, and repair projects • Together with the team, you create, renew, and refurbish overhead line systems and contribute to a reliable energy supply • After your specialized training, you take on work under voltage on medium-voltage systems and apply your expertise in a targeted manner • In the event of disruptions, you support rapid troubleshooting and actively contribute to ensuring high network availability • You work on switchings as well as on network shutdowns and commissioning, and operate vehicles, aerial work platforms, and special equipment safely • You consistently implement safety and quality standards and contribute to a work culture in which mutual support is a matter of course What you bring • You have completed an apprenticeship as a power line electrician EFZ or have a comparable electrical engineering training • You want to develop into a specialist for work under medium-voltage voltage and bring the necessary willingness to learn • Ideally, you have already gained experience in the construction or maintenance of medium-voltage overhead lines • Independent, reliable, and safety-conscious work characterizes you, as does responsible handling of infrastructure and materials • Working outdoors and at heights gives you pleasure, and you bring flexibility and a willingness to deploy for varied deployments • You hold a category B driver's license, a category BE or C license is an advantage At BKW Power Grid, we shape a reliable energy future through innovative solutions, responsibility, and close cooperation.
